Board and Advisory Council

Nirnaya was registered on 22 April 1998 as a Trust by three women who were committed towards the cause of economically empowering urban and rural
grassroots women in various parts of India.

Nirnaya now has a board of trustees comprised of five members and an Advisory
Council comprising of six members. These members have excelled in various
fields and are experienced development consultants, social workers, senior
bureaucrats, scientists, lawyers and other professionals.

The staff team comprises of six full time members and three part timers. It has a host of volunteers and appoints need specific consultants from time to time.
