NAWANDAGAR, WNGO based in Saraguja district, Chattisgarh. Maya Patel of Nawandagar has initiated a project on Promotion of Tribal Women’s Rights, from January to December 2011, to address issues like tribal women’s rights, untouchability, witch craft, human trafficking, subsidized food grain distribution, self reliance, right to land titles etc.

The objective of this project is to promote tribal women’s rights through awareness programs with the target community and panchayat representatives, leadership building and experience sharing for learning.
